Fitted with a European spec 3.0L engine producing over 200hp, this 911 is certainly quick and approaching fast. Compared to ant other long hood 911 out there, this is as good as it gets unless one opted for a Carrera RS. It would outrun a 3.2 Carrera. The sound of the SSI heat exchangers with sport muffler is the perfect blend of civilized and engine sound when the throttle is applied. It handles like it’s on rails and is just about perfect in every way. Perhaps most important is the full binder of service records detailing the last 25+ years, totaling to over $35,000! It checks all of the boxes from the split case rebuild with new bearings, seals, head studs, pistons, cylinders, full valve job, timing chain/gears with Carrera oil fed chain tensioner, pop off valve, clutch, and much more (a job that would easily run $30,000 alone today). It has had much of the suspension recently replaced, filters, fluid, axles, valve cover gaskets, and beyond; what we would call a full service. Most recently (less than 1,000 miles ago) it had a full brake overhaul with new calipers, rotors, pads, master cylinder, lines, and fluid to the tune of $4,000. There isn’t much on this car that hasn’t been replaced, rebuilt, or serviced and would be drivable cross country. With a fresh service, this magnificent motorcar is ready to be enjoyed by the next owner.
