PPW Motorcars is pleased to offer this beautiful Bespoke Ordered, Long Term Owned, Last of the Manuals, and overall magnificent 1990 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Roadster, which wears a stunning Signal Red over a Tan Leather Interior and shows nearly as nice as the day it was new! Very few of these vehicles were ordered in with a Manual Transmission, less than 400 in total for the entire R129 model range, and it was the last time a Mercedes SL was offered with a Stick! Living in Florida, the vehicle only saw rain if a shower popped up, never snow, and was used sparingly in only the best weather, which accounts for the fantastic and overall condition. Setting this vehicle apart from others, aside from rarity and power is the wonderful condition. Overall the vehicle is fantastic as well and shows as a car with less than half miles may. This storied car was then maintained with an open checkbook philosophy, oil changed yearly regardless of mileage, and when anything came up it was immediately addressed. Some recent examples are things like rebuilding of all 12 convertible top cylinders, a common and expensive R129 flaw, and were done at a cost of $5,000!
