PPW Motorcars is pleased to offer this beautiful 2005 Lotus Elise in Arctic Silver Metallic over a soft and supple Bordeaux Leather Interior! This stunning example has traveled just 20,487 carefully driven miles and it is clear that this example has been very well cared for over the course of its life. Further, this magnificent motorcar has been equipped with shadow chrome wheels, which pair beautifully with the Silver Metallic paint and Bordeaux interior. To enhance the driving experience even more, it was also fitted with an Arqray Sport exhaust, which is tame around town but when given throttle, particularly over 6,000rpm lets off one of the most brutal and enjoyable sports car sounds I have ever heard. With many of these examples not surviving to date or having been abused, this is one of the very few nice examples left. The most recent local owner, a bank executive, kept the vehicle well maintained, properly stored, caring for it dearly, with an open checkbook philosophy. However, like many of these vehicles we do need to disclose a non-accident that this vehicle was involved in during 2006 when it was backed into by a truck with a trailer hitch while parked on the street. Due to the estimated expense of the clam shell and other ancillary parts the insurance company decided to total it. The owner, who was aware that the cost of repairs would be significantly less than estimated, bought it back and had it repaired. The only damage was to the lights, clam shell, and other surrounding parts, all of which were replaced with factory parts. The damage was so minor in nature that nothing else on the vehicle required paintwork, just the clamshell and has since been issued a rebuilt title. The current owner was so particular, that he had the best body shop in the area refinish this area to make it even more perfect and remove rock chips that had accumulated over the years and is now in like new condition. To add to the condition, the vehicle has clear bra applied to the rockers, behind the rear wheels, and other places where rock chips would normally occur and is in exceptional condition.
